Dade Schools Best in Class

Schools sure have changed since I attended them.  Either my schools were never able/eligible to compete for National prizes, or they just didn’t exist at the time.  Well, in the case of local schools, if you’re going to be known for something, it may as well be something good.  Miami-Dade Country Public Schools, a five-time finalist for the Broad prize for Urban Education, has finally won it.  Even with all of my cynicism, I find it hard to denounce this achievement.  Bravo, Carvalho, Bravo.
